Blackrock Education Centre and OpenApp are delighted to announce the launch of their StarOffice 8 training material, “Training for ECDL: A Practical Course in StarOffice 8”. A first to the market, this material offers a comprehensive guide to the StarOffice 8 suite of programmes. While StarOffice 8 is a cross platform application, the training material has been produced keeping Microsoft XP Windows users in mind.

Through their collaboration, Blackrock Education Centre and OpenApp are bringing the first training materials for StarOffice 8. We are confident that this is an important first step towards broadening the learners' access to the ECDL Qaulification. StarOffice 8 is a particularly inexpensive office suite, offering a real alternative to MS Office.
